Swansea is about 90 miles from our workshop near Weston-super-Mare, along the M4 and over the Severn crossing. Parts can come to us by insured courier, or call 01934 820 454 to arrange a time to bring them in, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm.

Swansea Marina is part of the city's Maritime Quarter, and we plate and polish boat fittings as well as car and motorcycle parts. Salt air is hard on any finish, so we will look at each marine part and recommend the plating or polishing that will last. All chrome plating for our Swansea customers is carried out to British Standards, with additional inspection points at every stage of the process so the finished item is the best it can be.

Everything is checked whilst wrapped to ensure the item is of the highest quality before being sent out or collected.

We will handle everything from single items to larger volumes, subject to required turnaround times.

Process for Chrome Plating Swansea

All chrome plating work for our Swansea customers is carried out in house at our Weston-super-Mare workshop, using modern processing plant capable of providing the highest quality chrome plating to meet the varied demands of both trade and private customers. We offer two types of finish

• Bright chrome
• Sateen chrome.

We also offer a comprehensive range of post-plating treatments, including chromate passivate in trivalent clear and coloured.

Is any Preparation Work needed by the Customer?

No, generally you can supply your item to us in its current condition and we will undertake all preparations (strip and polish) before undergoing the transformation process.  The only exception would be if we have to manually remove heavy paint layers or lacquers from the metal you send to us, in which case a small extra charge would apply to the stripping process.   All details of this will be included in the quotation we provide to you before commencing work.

All of our Electroplating processes adhere to the appropriate British Standards.   We are members of the Federation of Small Businesses and approved contractors to Leonardo Helicopters (formerly Agusta Westland)
